
Ted Wemhoff
About
Ted Wemhoff is a designer, instructor, performer, administrator, and adjudicator in the pageantry arts, active since 1982. Based in Frisco, Texas, he began marching at age 12 with the River City Railmen Drum and Bugle Corps (Omaha, NE) and also performed with the Sky Ryders Drum and Bugle Corps and Contempo Winter Guard. He and his wife directed the Frisco High School color guard (1995-2003) and served on the North Texas Colorguard Association (NTCA) executive board; he was inducted into the NTCA Hall of Fame in 2015 and serves as its Judges Coordinator. He was a visual design consultant for the five-time BOA Regional finalist Wakeland High School band and winter guard and the Coppell High School winter guard. Judging since 2002, he became a Winter Guard International general effect judge in 2004 and a Drum Corps International visual judge in 2015, adjudicating across the U.S. and internationally in the UK, the Netherlands, Japan, and Indonesia.
