Michael Turner

Michael Turner is a color guard and visual adjudicator who has been involved in the pageantry arts for over 30 years, judging for WGI, Bands of America, and Drum Corps International. Trained in ballet, jazz, and modern dance, he was one of the early color guard innovators to bring dance and movement to the marching arena—including the iconic 1982 Madison Scouts rifle-line dance. He spent 18 years with the two-time World Champion Madison Scouts as Color Guard Choreographer and Visual Coordinator, and served as Dance Master and Choreographer for the six-time World Champion Santa Clara Vanguard. He was inducted into the WGI Hall of Fame in 2017.
