Hieu Nguyen

About

Hieu Nguyen is a color guard adjudicator (DCI since 2014, WGI since 2011) and choreographer, originally from Danbury, Connecticut. He began in the marching arts as a high school marching band saxophonist before finding color guard, and performed with groups including Alter Ego, St. John's of Beverly, and St. Ann's world winter guards, as well as the Cadets drum corps (2001, 2003, 2004). He choreographs for Shenendehowa High School's WGI Scholastic World Class program, a multi-year WGI fan-favorite winner. Outside the activity he is an attorney running his own family-law practice in Boston, Massachusetts, and a multiple-time Boston and NYC Marathon finisher who has raised funds for arts education.
