Jen Barton

Jennifer 'Jen' Barton is a color guard adjudicator, choreographer, and consultant, a native of Greenwood, Indiana, who recently retired as color guard director at Rouse High School (Leander, TX) and is on the movement and visual staff of the Music City drum and bugle corps. Over a 20-year career across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Texas she has worked with scholastic and independent ensembles including Byrnes HS (a five-time WGI World Championships finalist under her direction), Origins, The Cast, and Etude winter guards, and the Pacific Crest, Spirit of Atlanta, and Phantom Regiment drum corps. As a performer she appeared with the Santa Clara Vanguard and Northeast Independent winter guard, and she served as a Color Guard judge at the 2025 DCI World Championships.
